Roots & Wings

Roots & Wings is a GM-less RPG for 2-4 players about 2 generations of a family, living decades or centuries apart.

Every player will take the role of 2 different characters within a family, one in the older era and one in the newer era. Discovering an heirloom of the past, the descendants will investigate their ancestor's lives, their dreams and their conflicts, but they will also re-evaluate their own lives, their relationships and their family's legacy by reconnecting with their past. 

Inspired by Tom Stoppard's Arcadia, plays about family dramas, and other tales of loss and memory, Roots & Wings lets the players form the missing links between the 2 generations, draw parallels between them or contrast them, and shape the future of their family.
